Straight answers about selling surplus wire in Georgia, what we buy, how it is valued and how pickup works.
If your question is not here, call (614) 715-3047 or email salelectricalbuyers@gmail.com. We would rather answer it before you send photos than have you guess.
We do, across Georgia. Contractor closeout lots are our most common purchase: mixed colors, partial spools, opened boxes and a few sealed reels that were never installed. One photo of the pile and a rough count is enough to start.
Here. Use the quote form, call, or email photos. We buy statewide, so your location inside Georgia does not limit you, and we arrange pickup.
Yes, when it is still usable wire. Legible print and an intact reel mean a contractor can install it, and that installation value is higher than metal content. Damaged or unlabeled wire is a different conversation.
Yes. Partials are most of what we buy. Footage is estimated from the tag or the wrap diameter, and the offer reflects the remaining length.
Send an inventory list or rack photos, tell us the location and access conditions, and we will respond with a range and a plan for inspection. Most lots can be evaluated in a single visit.
Yes, and it is a large part of the market. Aluminum service entrance, URD and large feeders are bought by reel and by truckload, priced on its own terms rather than converted to a copper number.
Utilities, industrial contractors and resellers who can test and re-certify cable. Voltage class, shield type, conductor size and jacket condition decide the price.
We do. Full reels with tags are priced as product; partial spools are priced on estimated footage; mixed pallets are quoted as one lot.
Yes, priced differently. Without legible print the wire cannot be documented as a listed construction, so it is valued on conductor size and insulation condition.
Large conductors: 4/0, 250, 350, 500, 750 and 1000 MCM, plus feeder and service cable. Small branch-circuit wire still sells, usually by the pallet.
No. Pickup is part of the transaction. What we do need is a description of access, because a dock and a forklift change the plan completely compared with a storage unit and a ramp.
Turnaround depends on location and lot size, but most Georgia pickups are scheduled within a few business days of an agreed number.
By check or bank transfer after inspection and an agreed count. For larger inventories, consignment arrangements can be discussed.
Both. We buy from contractors, plants, distributors, institutions and individuals, provided the quantity justifies a pickup.
Transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, busway, panels, motors, tools and general scrap equipment. Wire and cable only.
Send the details below and include photos of your spools, reels and labels. Photos are what let us identify the construction, estimate footage, and give you a real number instead of a guess.
