A data center build uses more large conductor per square foot than almost any other project. When the commissioning ends, the surplus is heavy, valuable and specific.
Data center electrical work means parallel feeders, large grounding conductors, UPS and switchgear connections, and thousands of feet of THWN-2 and XHHW-2 in sizes from 4/0 to 1000 MCM. Precision scheduling means over-orders are common and rarely returned.
We buy the surplus in place: partial reels of large feeder, unopened grounding conductor, tray cable and MC from the fit-out, and the accumulated leftovers from each phase of a multi-building campus.
Metro Atlanta is one of the largest data center markets in the country, with concentration in Fulton, Douglas, Gwinnett, Forsyth, Coweta, Henry and Clayton counties. Each campus generates repeat surplus across its build phases.
Most engagements follow the same path: you send photos or an inventory list, we respond with a range and a list of anything we need clarified, then we schedule an inspection at your site. After inspection we confirm a firm number, agree a count, and schedule removal. Payment is made by check or bank transfer once the count is agreed.
We buy wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, panels, motors, tools and general scrap are outside our scope, and we will help you separate them so the wire lot can be valued cleanly.
A wide shot of the racks plus a few readable tags is enough for us to give you a realistic range.
Yes, with proper coordination. Material is staged and counted before removal, and we work within the general contractor's site rules and access schedule.
Yes. Bare and insulated grounding conductors in data center sizes are high-value copper and are purchased as product when still in original coils.
Yes. We routinely evaluate multiple pallets and full truckloads, and we can arrange flatbed and forklift support.
Send the details below and include photos of your spools, reels and labels. Photos are what let us identify the construction, estimate footage, and give you a real number instead of a guess.
