When a distributor changes product lines, a plant closes a storeroom or a contractor retires, the result is a mixed inventory that needs one buyer rather than fifty phone calls.
Inventory lots are different from single reels. They involve hundreds of SKUs, some obsolete, some current, some damaged, and they carry a book value that rarely matches market value. We evaluate the whole lot against what can actually be resold.
The most useful thing a seller can provide is an inventory list: type, size, color, footage and quantity. If no list exists, photographs of rack sections work. We will build the valuation from that and confirm at inspection.
| Typical lot size | One pallet to a full warehouse |
|---|---|
| Includes | Wire, cable, cord, portable cord, service cable |
| Excludes | Transformers, switchgear, breakers, scrap equipment |
| Evaluation | Inventory list or rack photographs, then on-site verification |
| Payment | After inspection and agreed count, by check or transfer |
We buy wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, panels, tools and general scrap are outside our scope, and mixing them into a lot complicates valuation without adding value.
We price against what the material is worth as usable wire, then compare that to conductor value so you can see the difference. If a reel has lost its jacket or its print, we say so and price it accordingly.
Georgia's electrical distributors, industrial plants and large contractors hold surplus inventory continuously. End-of-year write-downs, product line changes and plant closures are the usual triggers for a liquidation conversation.
We reply with a range for full reels, partial spools and mixed lots, anywhere in Georgia.
Send an inventory list or rack photos, tell us the location and access conditions, and we will respond with a range and a plan for inspection. Most lots can be evaluated in a single visit.
Yes, when the construction is still usable. Discontinued but functional wire sells to contractors who need to match existing installations, though at a discount to current product.
We buy the wire and cable portion. Panels, breakers, transformers and general scrap are excluded, and we will help separate them so the wire lot can be quoted cleanly.
After inspection and an agreed count, typically by check or bank transfer. Consignment arrangements are considered for very large inventories where resale timing matters.
We buy statewide. A few of the markets where this category comes up most:

Send the details below and include photos of your spools, reels and labels. Photos are what let us identify the construction, estimate footage, and give you a real number instead of a guess.
