SEU is the two or three conductor service entrance cable used for single-phase services and large appliances. It is small-footage material, but it adds up.
SEU is service entrance cable with a reinforced jacket and a concentric neutral or bare ground, made in 6, 4, 2 and 1/0 AWG for services feeding ranges, dryers, panels and outbuildings. It is rated 600 volts and is usually copper or aluminum.
SEU reels are shorter than SER reels and the quantities are smaller, so it is usually sold as part of a lot rather than on its own. That said, sealed reels of common sizes still have a buyer almost every week.

SEU is a volume category more than a value category. If you have one partial reel, it is best bundled with other material; if you have a pallet, it is worth a dedicated quote.
The number you get reflects three things: whether the construction is still in use, how much footage remains, and whether the jacket and print are intact. Everything else is secondary.
Rural and exurban service work across Georgia produces SEU surplus: Well pumps, shops, barns and manufactured housing all use it, and the leftover reels tend to sit in trucks and garages.
We reply with a range for full reels, partial spools and mixed lots, anywhere in Georgia.
Yes, usually as part of a lot. A single 40 foot partial is not worth a pickup on its own, but it is worth including with other wire in the same trip.
It is generally used for service entrance and feeder work, and its permitted uses depend on the code edition and installation type. That is a question for your electrician, not for a buyer.
Yes, per foot and per pound. Copper SEU in 6/3 and 4/3 configurations is the stronger seller of the two.
