Campuses renovate continuously, and every renovation leaves cable behind. Institutions also carry decades of maintenance stock that no longer matches current standards.
A university facilities department supports labs, residence halls, athletics, dining and central plants, each with its own electrical requirements. That variety produces surplus across the entire cable range, from instrumentation in labs to 15kV distribution on the campus loop.
Institutional procurement often requires a documented disposal process. We provide a written purchase record, coordinate with surplus property offices, and can handle material that must be removed on a fixed schedule.
Georgia has more than 60 colleges and universities plus 180 school districts. The University System of Georgia's construction program and ongoing K-12 facility work generate steady surplus material.
Most engagements follow the same path: you send photos or an inventory list, we respond with a range and a list of anything we need clarified, then we schedule an inspection at your site. After inspection we confirm a firm number, agree a count, and schedule removal. Payment is made by check or bank transfer once the count is agreed.
We buy wire and cable only. Transformers, switchgear, breakers, panels, motors, tools and general scrap are outside our scope, and we will help you separate them so the wire lot can be valued cleanly.
A wide shot of the racks plus a few readable tags is enough for us to give you a realistic range.

Yes, including shielded pairs and specialty constructions, when the configuration is documented.
Yes. We plan access and labor as part of the quote, and we can bring equipment for material that is not at a dock.
Send the details below and include photos of your spools, reels and labels. Photos are what let us identify the construction, estimate footage, and give you a real number instead of a guess.
