Electrical Wire Buyers in Rabun County, Georgia

Wire we buy in Rabun County

Surplus in this county tends to fall into a handful of categories. Manufacturing plants stock tray, control and feeder cable for line changes, and the spares usually outlive the equipment they were bought for.

• Tray Cable (TC) — Tray cable lets an industrial plant run power and control in open cable tray, and plants that standardize on it accumulate surplus in every size and conductor count.
• Industrial Feeder Cable — Feeder cable is where the real money sits in most industrial surplus piles: large conductors, long lengths, and a buyer pool that needs exactly those sizes.
• Control Cable — Control cable is the nervous system of a plant, and when a line is upgraded or replaced, the leftover reels are usually still fully usable.
• XHHW-2 Wire — XHHW-2 combines XLPE insulation with a wet-location rating, which is why it is specified for underground conduit, exterior feeders and industrial distribution.
• Building Wire — Building wire is the general category that covers most of what an electrician carries in a truck, and it is the bulk of the surplus market in Georgia.
• MC Cable (Metal-Clad) — Metal-clad cable is the fastest-installed wiring method in commercial construction, and every Georgia high-rise, school and hospital job leaves partial coils behind.
• SER Cable — SER cable feeds panels and subpanels across the state, and leftover reels from service work are among the most quotable items a contractor can have on hand.
• THHN Wire — THHN is the most common wire in the state and the easiest to sell, provided the print is legible and the spool still holds usable footage.
