Electrical Wire Buyers in Turin, Georgia

With about 347 residents at the 2020 census, Turin is one of the communities that make up Coweta County, Georgia.

We buy electrical wire and cable from Turin businesses and individuals: full reels, partial spools, mixed pallets and single coils. Everything is quoted as wire first, because most surplus cable is worth more as product than as metal.

Where surplus wire comes from around Turin

Surplus wire around Turin comes from the same places it comes from across Metro Atlanta: projects that finish with material left over, plants that keep spares for equipment they no longer run, and facilities that consolidate stockrooms and have to decide what to keep.

Coweta County is home to Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America in Newnan, automobile suppliers, and distribution operations along I-85. Automotive assembly and its supplier plants use robotic, conveyor and drive cable, and model-year changes retire those runs on a fixed schedule.

What we need to quote your Turin wire

You do not need an inventory list. The five things below are enough for us to give you a range, and the first two are what actually drive the number.

• Wire type and construction — THHN, XHHW-2, MC, tray cable, medium voltage, or whatever is printed on the jacket
• Size and footage — gauge or MCM, and either the reel tag footage or an estimate from the wrap
• Condition — sealed, opened, stored indoors, stored outdoors, damaged jacket, water exposure
• Photos — jacket print, reel tag, spool face, cut ends and a wide shot of the whole lot
• Location and loading — where in Turin it sits, and whether there is a dock, forklift or ramp

Selling surplus wire in Turin: what to expect

Pickup in Turin is arranged around how the material is staged. A loading dock and a forklift make it simple; a storage building behind a shop takes a little more planning, and we will say so before we schedule.

Storage conditions matter more in Georgia than sellers expect. Six months outdoors in the heat and rain can turn a reel of THHN into conductor value, while the same reel indoors would still sell as wire.
