In Waleska we buy the same categories we buy statewide: building wire, feeder cable, tray and control cable, service entrance cable and medium voltage cable. Send photos and we will tell you what the material is worth as wire, not just as scrap.
We buy the categories below from Waleska sellers in full reels, partial spools, coils and mixed lots. If you are not sure what you have, send a photo of the jacket print and we will identify it.
Most of the wire we buy in Waleska is not abandoned scrap. It is material somebody bought for a specific job, a specific machine or a specific code requirement, and the job changed before the wire was used.
Cherokee County has a broad base of machine shops, plastics and metal fabricators, and industrial parks spreading north from Marietta along I-575. Manufacturing plants stock tray, control and feeder cable for line changes, and the spares usually outlive the equipment they were bought for.
You do not need an inventory list. The five things below are enough for us to give you a range, and the first two are what actually drive the number.
Send photos and the basic details and we will come back with a range for your Waleska wire, usually within one business day.
Pickup in Waleska is arranged around how the material is staged. A loading dock and a forklift make it simple; a storage building behind a shop takes a little more planning, and we will say so before we schedule.
If your wire has been outdoors for a while, say so up front. It does not disqualify the material, but it does change how we estimate usable length, and an honest description gets you a number that holds up at pickup.
